Eco friendly solutions for older buildings
Breathing new life into old abandoned buildings is a good starting point and fits in the circular economy philosophy. However, this principle soon encounters practical problems such as obsolete heating systems and inadequate insulation. From an ecological point of view you have to be able to provide an answer. For this reason Entrakt started the Be Module Inside project, together with MCB and Dzero Studio Architects, for the production of energy-efficient modules that are produced from recycled materials themselves. The concept is based on the box-in-a-box principle. The modules are designed in such a way that they can be easily disassembled and adapted to different spaces.
