Factory become artistic hub
A Brussels factory of coupling and sealing pieces is moving away from the city center, leaving behind a huge industrial space. As part of the community contract for the Heyvaert district, the building will make way in a few years for a mixed project of schools, housing, local neighborhood services and various projects in the social economy, including an upcycling workspace and a bicycle workshop. In the meantime, these large industrial spaces form the home for various artists, choreographers and parts of the artistic courses of RITCS and La Cambre.
