At the end of 2019, the transport company Ziegler moved its offices to a new premises along the canal in Brussels. While waiting for the new plans for the building to take shape, a new hub was created here for the audiovisual sector. At the front of the building there are three office floors, each with smaller separate offices and completely outfitted for a quick start-up (internet, sanitary facilities, lockability, freight elevator…).

On the groundfloor and at the back of the building, there 

On the ground floor and at the rear, there are loading docks, studio spaces, triphase current… The decor teams can also safely store their material trucks there. Citizen Ciné Services is one of the first users of the building. They rent out everything a production crew could need on site for shootings or in their temporary offices.

Not only is the building perfectly situated to serve as a base for shootings in Brussels and the surrounding area, but a couple of times it has also served as a backdrop.

In 2020 we already welcomed Lunanime, Frakas, Velvet films and Umedia. Lunanime has used The Production Hub for both production offices and as film location for the series “Grond /Terre”, by directors Adil El Arbi, Bilall Fallah and Mathieu Mortelmans. This Lunanime and Dragon Films production, set in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean, tells the story of the young Ismaël "Smile" Boulasmoum, who inherits his father's funeral home.

Frakas has used the building for both production offices and as film location for three film productions, including "Entre la vie et la mort", Giordano Gederlini's feature film debut. This Frakas production tells the story of the Spanish metro driver Leo Castenada, who one day sees his own son jumping on the tracks. His search for the reason of his son's death brings Leo in contact with violent criminals.

Velvetfilms has filmed most of their feature film "L'Employée du mois", a movie by Véronique Jadin, in The Production Hub. The movie shows actors Jasmina Douieb and Peter Van Den Begin side by side and tells the story of 45-year-old Inès. After years of being undervalued and underpaid, she finally asks her boss Partick a well-deserved pay rise. The situation goes off the rails and Patrick ends up with a broken skull.
